I came to this brand because TK Maxx had a bottle of chai called Classic. It was the best chai I’ve had in years. It was also a very good deal— a lot more syrup than this chai and what would have worked out as cheaper per ML in quantity.
Unfortunately they didn’t have any more.
Contacted the company to see which it was and they said they didn’t have that specific type online. I got the spices and vanilla to try both. Unfortunately, neither of them taste like the bottle I had years ago. I don’t really like either of them. I don’t know if There is black liquorice/anise in it but it seems to have a very strong flavour similar to that. I’m not able to drink it. I don’t mind anise, but it was the only thing I could taste.
I had to pour the spiced and sweet into one bottle and mix them to use them up. I don’t really like it, but it’s a lot better than the spiced was by itself.
Probably won’t buy either of the vanilla or the spiced again. Nether really tasted very good. If I see the Classic at TK Maxx again, I’ll buy as many as I can get my hands on. But I’m really disappointed in both the spice and vanilla syrups here, so I won’t be getting either unless they change the recipes.
